Sheet Cabinet by Bjørn van den Berg for A part. Sheet Cabinet is a wall mounted cabinet that explores the relation between hiding and exposing stored objects by changing the angle of the front sheets. The positioning of the hinges allows the doors to revolve in a 90 degree rotation from front edges to side edges, always remaining open from one or two sides. With a subtle hand movement the cabinet changes its sculptural expression, raising the question if it`s a shelf or a cabinet. The finish of the material adopts its surrounding depending on time of the day and positioning of the doors, making you aware of the moment.

Each cabinet is numbered and engraved. The series consists of 10 numbered pieces. Only two pieces left.

Dimension: 60 cm x 60 cm x 20 cm.
Material: 3 mm untreated aluminium sheets and aluminium profile.
Finish: Please note that untreated aluminium is delicate and susceptible to scratching. Aluminium will oxidise in use and develop a patina over time. All cabinets may have small stains, marks and scratches from the production process.
Cleaning instruction: Wash dry with clean water or aceton with a soft cotton cloth.
Note: Mount to wall with two screws.
